Nach der Soloausstellung im CAFA vor zwei Jahren sind Jiweis Lichtobjekte nun in einer neuen Solo-Ausstellung im Parkview Green ebenfalls in Peking zu sehen.

以超现代概念为理论框架和观念起点，芳草地画廊荣幸地呈献艺术家李继伟的个展“绕行”（Detour）。李继伟在接受了中国传统艺术的基础教育后，在奥地利和德国继续其学业和艺术生涯：在中西文化艺术遗产相结合的基础上，艺术家具有丰富而多面的国际经验。他的作品使用多种媒介和材料，呈献了多变的艺术语言，并涵盖具有国际共鸣的广泛主题。

Taking the concept of Altermodern as theoretical framework and conceptual starting point, Parkview Green Art Gallery is honoured to present the solo exhibition of the artist Li Jiwei titled Detour. Li Jiwei, after receiving an education based on Chinese traditional art, continued his studies and his artistic career in Austria and Germany: his multifaceted and rich international experience based on the combination of Chinese and Western cultural and artistic heritage is reflected on his versatile artistic language characterized by the use of a wide range of mediums and materials and by a wide selection of subject matters of international resonance.

正如展览标题“绕行”所呼吁的那样，本次展览展出的作品对我们周围的环境提出了多重和另类的解读，从而鼓励观众打破偏见和常规，摆脱物质现实的限制，拥抱新的表达和解释的可能性。在展览中，将展出艺术家一系列重要的绘画和装置作品，旨在探索时间与空间、运动与静止、社会变革与超人类主义、以及科技对人类生活的影响有关的概念。

As evoked by the title of the exhibition Detour, the works displayed on this show suggest multiple and alternative readings of the environment around us, thus encouraging the viewers to break away from prejudices and conventions, to free themselves from the limitations of material reality and to embrace new expressive and interpretative possibilities. For the exhibition Detour, Li Jiwei presents a significative selection of paintings and installations aimed at exploring concepts related to time, space, movement, stillness, transformation, social evolution, Transhumanism and the impact of technology on human life.

李继伟精致复杂的创作是在融合了艺术、建筑和设计，因此隐喻着“整体艺术”（gesamtkunstwerk）的概念。他的作品似乎悬浮在时空中，不断激发着观众的思考和沉思。它们带着我们进入自我的小径，伴随着具有普世意义的情感回音，开启心灵深处的探索之旅。

Li Jiwei’s complex and sophisticated works of art are created at the intersection between art, architecture and design thus metaphorically recalling the concept of total work of art embodied in the expression of gesamtkunstwerk. His works seem to be suspended in time and space, inspiring in the viewers reflection and contemplation. They are journeys into the self, into the depths of the individual psyche, and they convey universal feelings and emotions.
